1. How much do you charge?  You will only be charged for the time spent at your home. From there, we will give you a quote for ongoing services, which is a flat rate charge which remains the same at each cleaning. Please contact us to set up your initial consultation in order to receive a quote for your home!

  2. Do any of your products have strong smells? All of our products are free of synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals, dyes, etc. However, we do offer two lines of products for our customers to choose from. The first leaves the home smelling sweet – a very clean and fresh smell. The second contains almost no fragrance at all. 

  3. What can I expect when I call you to clean my home? The first thing we will do is to set up a time to come to your home for a brief consultation – free of charge. At this consultation, we will view your home, go over our cleaning items and services, hear any and all details you’d like to give us on the desire for your regular cleanings, and discuss scheduling. At your first cleaning, we will always allow an extra half hour (at least) as we are learning your house and evaluating the most efficient way to complete your home. We will ask you to allow us 1 to 2 times to clean your home before setting an exact amount of time needed, as well as the price you will be charged at each cleaning.

  4. What is your cancellation policy? While we prefer a 7-day notice, our customers must cancel 48 hours or more before their cleaning appointment in order to avoid paying for at least 50% of their cleaning. This is in place to help cover for our employees’ time, if we do not have enough notice to reschedule their appointments. Thank you for your understanding.

  5. What is your policy on entering my home when I am not present? For security reasons, Edelweiss will not hold any house keys in our position. Your choices include giving us the garage code, leaving a key under the mat, or purchasing a lock box to store the key outside. 

  6. What if I want something changed or revised? You will receive an email after every cleaning, providing you the chance to give us any feedback – positive or negative. If we see any kind of dissatisfaction in your reply, rest assured that we will be contacting you to find how we can service you better next time, or make it right if necessary. 

  7. Do I need to prepare my home for the cleaning? To ensure the best quality cleaning we can give, please clear off counters, pick up toys or clutter on the floors, and clear off bathroom counters of all personal items.
